Last updated 07/08/2026
1.Who we are
SKNCE Limited (trading as Tethr) is a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is at 21 Moston Bank Avenue, Manchester, M9 4LD, United Kingdom. Company number 16810018.
In this Privacy Policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean SKNCE Limited. “You” and “your” mean the person visiting our website or joining our waitlist.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the personal information you give us when you visit gettethr.app or join our waitlist. It applies only to this website. When we launch the Tethr app, a separate privacy policy will apply to that.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, contact us at hello@gettethr.app.
2.What information we collect
We collect very little information from this website. Specifically, we collect:
- Waitlist information. When you click “Download Now” or otherwise sign up to our waitlist, we collect the email address you provide, and optionally your phone number if you choose to share it.
- Website analytics. When you visit our website, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This includes information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, your general location (country or city level), the device and browser you use, and how you found us. This information is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
- Cookies. We use a small number of cookies to make the website work properly and to collect the analytics described above. See our Cookies section below for more detail.
We do not collect any other information from you through this website. We do not ask for or store your name, address, payment details, or any sensitive personal data on this website.
3.Why we collect it and how we use it
We collect your waitlist information for one specific purpose: to notify you when Tethr launches. That’s it. We will not use your email address or phone number for any other marketing communications without your explicit consent.
We use Google Analytics to understand how our website is being used, so we can improve it. This helps us see which parts of our website are working and which need attention.
The lawful basis for processing your waitlist information under UK GDPR is your consent, which you give when you submit your email address or phone number through our sign-up form. The lawful basis for our use of analytics is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website.
4.Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes.
We use a small number of trusted service providers to help us run our website and manage our waitlist. These include:
- Email or waitlist management platform (such as Mailchimp, Beehiiv, or a similar service) to store your email address securely and to send you launch notifications when the time comes.
- Google Analytics (operated by Google LLC) to collect and process anonymised usage data. Google Analytics is configured to anonymise IP addresses where possible.
- Website hosting provider who stores our website and its data.
These service providers only have access to the information they need to perform their function. They are contractually required to keep your information confidential and use it only for the purposes we specify.
Some of these providers may be based outside the UK, including in the United States. This applies in particular to Google Analytics, which is operated by Google LLC in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK-US Data Bridge, to make sure your information remains protected.
5.How long we keep your information
We keep your waitlist information until Tethr launches and we have sent you the launch notification you signed up to receive. After that, if you have not become an active Tethr user, we will delete your waitlist information within 12 months of the launch date.
You can ask us to delete your waitlist information at any time by emailing hello@gettethr.app. We will action any deletion request within 30 days.
Google Analytics data is retained for the standard periods set by Google, in an aggregated and anonymised form. We currently retain analytics data for 14 months.
6.Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the following rights over your personal information:
- Right to access. You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to rectification. You can ask us to correct any information about you that is wrong.
- Right to erasure. You can ask us to delete your personal information. This is sometimes called the “right to be forgotten”.
- Right to restrict processing. You can ask us to limit how we use your personal information.
- Right to data portability. You can ask us to give you your personal information in a machine-readable format so you can move it elsewhere.
- Right to object. You can object to how we process your personal information based on our legitimate interests.
- Right to withdraw consent. You can withdraw your consent to being on our waitlist at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we did before you withdrew consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@gettethr.app. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection. You can contact the ICO at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
7.Cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember information about your visit. We use cookies to:
- Make the website function properly (essential cookies).
- Understand how visitors use our website through Google Analytics (analytics cookies).
When you first visit our website, you will see a cookie banner asking whether you accept non-essential cookies (which include Google Analytics cookies). You can accept or reject non-essential cookies. Essential cookies are always active because the website will not work without them.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clearing your browser cookies for our site and returning to gettethr.app, where the cookie banner will reappear.
8.Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold. This includes technical measures (such as secure servers and encrypted connections) and organisational measures (such as limiting who on our team has access to waitlist data).
However, no system is completely secure. If we ever become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the ICO in line with our legal obligations.
9.Children
Our website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@gettethr.app and we will delete it.
10.Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate or in the law. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. If we make significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, for example by email.
